| Kate Gosselin: Kids Would Rather Be With Me, Not Jon (Watch!) Posted: 10 Sep 2010 12:37 PM PDT Kate's appearance on ‘Live! With Regis and Kelly’ this morning has sparked a new war of words between her and her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. While talking with Kelly Ripa and guest host Anderson Cooper, the mom of eight said that their children were not the happiest of campers when spending time at their father Jon's house. When the kids are with Jon, Kate says she spends her time waiting for the phone to ring, telling the talk show hosts, "I basically wait for the phone call from how many of them want to come home." Their visitation schedule – part of Jon and Kate's custody agreement – is still relatively new she admits. But adds, "Jon's resident is not [their] home; it doesn't feel like home to them… they want to be at home – in their house." After Kate's interview aired, Jon took to his Twitter account and lashed out at his ex-wife, tweeting, "As much as I want to respond to numerous LIES recently claimed on Regis and Kelly, I will refrain. I have learned from the past that it's a waste of my time and energy. I am 'rising above' and refuse to engage in any sort of public argument that could potentially harm or upset my children. The actor was seen holding hands with businesswoman Freya St. Johnston as they left London's exclusive Nobu restaurant on Friday. The pair looked relaxed and happy together, and didn't seem to mind the presence of the photographers as the wandered into the Dorchester Hotel. Freya, who has two children with her former partner, Matthew Winton, is the first woman that Liam has been seen with since Natasha's death. Liam also has two sons from his marriage to Natasha. The Daily Mail reports that the new couple likely met through friends in the film world, though when asked about her relationship with Liam yesterday, Freya told the newspaper, "I am not saying anything whatsoever." “I’ll talk to my family,” the 35 year-old told CNN. “I talk to Brad; he wants to know as much as he can about these issues and every trip. He’s been here as well; he came with me after the earthquake. But I don’t know, I don’t have a lot of friends I talk to. He is really the only person I talk to.” Yowza. I could understand how being Angelina Jolie would make it hard to have regular friends, but that’s kind of sad. How can she not have any gal pals? Who does she talk to if Brad and the kids are driving her crazy? I can just see the Craigslist ad. “Wanted: one friend for A-list actress. Must enjoy kids and traveling to third world countries.” Although she misses her family, Angelina makes sure her kids know about the importance of her humanitarian missions. “I tell my children why I’m going and I explain to them why I was packing flashlights and food. They help me pack some things,” she explained. “My children are from a lot of these countries, so I want them to understand what’s happening in Africa, the boys to understand what’s happening if there’s something current in their countries, and for all of them to know about each other’s countries as well.” |

The trooper was on hand for crowd control at Justin's sold-out performance at the Maryland State Fair on Sunday. Apparently Justin had been tossing water balloons around backstage working on his aim before he finally made contact with the officer's gun belt. A state police spokesperson called Justin's behavior "inappropriate" but added that no further action will be taken against the teen and his entourage. At least, not officially – unofficially Justin will have to go at least a week with no video game or Ferrari privileges. That's how most parents punish their kids, right? Well, minus the bit about the Ferrari, anyway. Justin flew from Baltimore to Los Angeles early Monday morning to prepare for his performance at this weekend's MTV Music Video Awards. Why would she do it? An unnamed source claimed it was a bad case of anxiety. ”She said she’s gone through this before, but never this bad, and didn’t have…her medication,” a source told the paper. The Rhode Island native was placed under federal custody, and charges are still pending. Since you can’t just, you know, try to jump out of a commercial plane. My favorite crazy plane story is still that of Steven Slater, the Jet Blue flight attendant who told off an entire cabin before making a grand exit via inflatable emergency slide. Livingston was featured as the centerfold and described as “not just another pretty face” in the 2009 VIP edition of the Singapore Playboy. When and What Time are the VMAs 2010? The actual event kicks off at 9/8c but the red carpet events start as early as 7 or 8pm. The event is supposed to run for 2 hours but, as you may remember from previous years, live events tend to run over the time limit. You may want to plan to stay up a few extra minutes to catch the full show. Details of the 2010 VMAs Popular comedienne Chelsea Handler will host the prestigious event, which takes place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Viewers may expect to see Kanye West and Taylor Swift run into each other on the red carpet as both musicians are expected to attend. Before her tragic death, Lina Morgana's mother, Yana says that Lady Gaga, then still Stefani Germanotta, was introduced to her daughter by music producer Rob Fusari in New Jersey. Gaga helped to write songs with Lina for her first album, and later the two recorded about a dozen songs together, though none were released commercially. Within the year, Lina jumped to her death from the roof of a 10-story hotel on Staten Island. A month later, Gaga made it big on the mainstream music scene, allegedly with Lina's soul. "It was the same style, the same look, the same music, the same voice, the same jawline – the way they expressed themselves," Lina's ex-boyfriend told the New York Post, about seeing Lady Gaga's, 'Just Dance' video for the first time. "And I was like, 'Is that Lina?' It was so shocking. It was like looking at a ghost." Yana says she has no plans to take her case to court, but does want to singer to release Lina's music, and acknowledge her as an artist. "Lady Gaga is holding Lina's soul," Lina's mother said.
