However, it is good to see that they are thoroughly testing the idea before just throwing it out there and hoping it succeeds. In truth, Leona Gage was married at age 14. That marriage was annulled. Gage was remarried the same year. By age 16 she had two kids. Years later Leona Gage lost custody of five of her kids.
The age of Leona Gage was 71 when she died, confirmed by her son. Initial reason of her sudden death which was told by her son, is actually a heart failure. Gage was then immediately taken to the Sherman Oaks Hospital for emergency treatment and had been there for several weeks, confirmed by Robert Kaminer on Saturday who is known as Gage's son.The pageant scandal of Leona Gage brought her global publicity which probably would not have done even with having the crown only. She also did not speak truth about her age to pageant officials as she was 18 but she told the officials that her age was 21. Gage, who was born in Texas in 1939, represented Maryland at the Miss USA pageant held in Long Beach in July 1957.
